Yamaei’s story began in 1927, when our founder, Eiichi Yamazaki, started his business in fertilizer trading.
By focusing early on silkworm pupae, we were among the first to develop organic fertilizers.
Over time, this philosophy of cultivation and care was passed on to the world of tea,
leading to the production of high-quality tea leaves.
This approach to nurturing the soil has spread to our partner tea farmers,
with whom we now work together to produce delicious tea.
At our tea processing facility, we have taken a leading role in the industry
through initiatives such as the introduction of regional HACCP standards.
